Madagascar May 1942 to 1945
Sale Madagascar covers of the World War 2 during the british occupation.
On May 5, 1942, the British launched the combined operation “Ironclad” and occupied the bay of Diégo-Suarez.
The operation was continued by the East African Army with the conquest of the island, which was fully occupied in November 1942.
In January 1943, the Free French government took over, but British censorship lasted until 1946.
